Hello everyone, I'm back from a very nice vacation on the Table Rock Lake. Table rock is really starting to turn on. All of the fish I've caught came off of the beds. Most of the creek arms have alot of fish searching for beds or already parked on the beds.
Indian Point and Little Indian area seemed to be really moving fish into the spawn, but after a few more days I found that the whole lake is moved up to the 60 - 63 degree range. Reports also came from the Upper James and White river areas which are really good also..
Best way I found to catch these guys is to fish with very light line and a senko weightless. I was using a White (Bone) Color 4 " senko and allowing this to sink right down on the bed. Some of these fish will just nail it right off the bat and some will just look it over and move it around. But if you keep on it they will bite. Some of these took me more than 20 - 30 tries. All of these fish are the bucks but in the 2 - 3 pound range and some bigger females.
So get out there this will not last much longer... Good Fishing be back in a few days with a new report...

Don, sure wish I were there, I really miss Table Rock, BUll Shoals and Norfork, great lakes. Will be in Alabama in a week as Iowa Youth Director for the B.A.S.S. Federation. A week later I plan to fish Bull Shoals or Norfork, can't wait, probaly miss the spawn, but that's okay. Good luck, JOhnnie
