Lake Allatoona, GA

Allatoona is getting hot! The water is still 8 feet below full pool where it has been for about 2 months. The Corps of Engineers will continue to draw the lake down to 20-25 feet below full pool between now and Jan. 07. Be carefull out there.
Last night in a pot tournament we placed 3rd with 10.49lbs. I caught all my fish on the Jig X by Vertical Lures. (www.verticallures.com) My partner caught one on a Beaver. The fish are moving up the creeks and the main lake fish are just moving up on shallow structure in the midlake area. Fall and Winter are the best times to be on Lake Allatoona for magnum spots and big toad Largemouths.
