colorado bass ponds

Post by natasfonik »

I have been fishing a couple of ponds in the denver metro area with not much luck
the fishing has been extremely slow and water temps are matching the fishing.
Any one in colorado i would love to know
where you are fishing and also what you are
fishing.
I have had a lot of luck with a dt6 shad colored crankbait and a little luck drop shoting worms wacky rigged both with slow retreives

denver bass fishing yesterday 5/1/07
was a little better i fished a pond on 64th and pecos and brought 7 to shore none of any real size but they seem to be holding very tight to cover and are striking on crankbaits and chatterbaits.
i ran these baits fairly quick next to a couple of submerged trees and the results were quite good.
good luck to all fellow colorado anglers
and everyone else as well
