OK sports fans, time to vote for your favorite spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.
Tell us precisely what is different about your preferred bait and how it compares cost-wise to others of note.
Another appeal to those who haven't joined yet (but lurk about in the early hours of cyberspace looking for bass info):
Guys and Gals: Come aboard and register. Take part in exchanging top-flight bass knowledge 24 hours a day. Try it; you'll like it!
Much obliged. See what the commotion is all about. Tell your bass club to come aboard.

All right! Good descriptions. Sounds like they both do the job.
Why are they discontinuing the Excalibur Buzz
bait? (A good time to buy some at a reduced price- if you can locate them)
Thanks, JoeMo

My favorite spinnerbait is Stanley Wedge 1/2 oz.-red head-double willowleaf (gold)-white skirt/blue glimmer-twin tail white trailer. One thing I do is cut down the little plastic sleeve that separates the blades so they hit together. I love slow rolling these in late winter through late spring. My favorite buzzbait is Blue Fox (clacker blade) 1/2 oz.-chartreuse head-black shirt. I fish this at night around grass beds!

I am a bit biased as I make my own spinnerbaits. The cool thing is that I make them with every feature I think is integral to the success of the bait. 3-D eyes, Magnum Turtleback Willows, a quick change blade system, Hydro-silk skirting, Gammie hook, heavy duty tapered wire frame. My designs have come a long way from where I started ten years ago. Durability is a key concern. I've gotten positive feedback on my spinnerbaits from guys who took them up north for pike and down south for Pea**** bass...ohhhhh, can't say pea****!! LOL
