Heres a trick i've been experimenting with. When using Senkos in darker colors try pinching the tail until it turns into a lighter color....this makes the tail flutter more and breaks up the color of the lure alittle .... i love trying new things and i'll always share them with you here.

Hyperdub- That's an interesting way to give a Senko a little different look or movement.
Somewhat similar to leaving some Senkos out in the sun with the front half covered. I've read that some colors will lighten quite a bit.

So, give it a pinch. It's worth a try! Good tip. JoeMo

if there is a way NOT to make a senko work, I haven't seen or found it yet....

Now, Mr Joe Moe: So this is where you have been hiding old buddy!! I see you are quite alive and well, and a MODERATOR at that!! Well Done! JOHN G

Along those same lines, if you take a dark (salted) tube and roll it between your palms, or repeatedly pull it, it will take on a lighter shade. Sometimes when smallmouth fishing the washed out hue will make all the difference.

To raz John G a bit.....he is the guy that caught that monster of a nine pounder from Wampus a few months back. Way to go Tyrant!

JohnG- Everything I learned about moderating, I learned from You! While I am not quite as deft with the delete key, I always know whom I could approach with natty problems.

Brian- Another good tip from you. Naturally I won't attempt to roll those tubes after I add the tube jig to it!

Craig- Thanks for I.D.ing the Tyrant! And you are right; JohnG was the angler who subdued that 9.3 pound Largemouth a few weeks back.

JohnG: Take a bow! (drumroll)

To you all. Thanks for posting. JoeMo
