I use the lizards by power bait and the river smallies here in Wisconsin love them. Just about ever cast a smallie was nailing my lizard. I would have to say keep on giving them a try.

7" electric grape or blue fleck powerbait worms are the only ribbontail worms i buy. Some days i catch 8 or more on it, But somedays i don't get a bite.

hey guys,
i have found a cool use for powerbait called crappie nibbles. It is a small scented ball that fish love. I first used the tiny morsels for bream. i was walking the edge of our local PFA when i saw a small 10-12 inch bass with a crappie nibble in the edge of its mouth.I then decided to stuff my favorite tube with a few of the crappie nibbles and found that the fish just seemed to hold on longer and caught several nice bass. If thee are any crappie fisherman reading this try putting one or two nibbles in your tube jigs. this seems to work well also.

I would bring the powerbait and zoom worms with me on the same fishing trip, and alternate...see if they really catch more fish...I think they are quite more expensive than zoom (4.99 per pack or something? and zoom is 2.99 for a 20 pack)...
