Injection molded baits vs. hand pours

No secret that soft plastics are one of the most popular and effective bass catching bait styles. Do you prefer injection molded baits or hand pours?
I started with injection molded baits way back when. Generally these provide durability, decent colors and a true round bait. For the most part I had no complaints. Then about 12 years ago I got into West Coast Finesse fishing here on the East Coast. Nothing I had could be applied to these new methods. I scrapped my whole arsenal and became a hand poured guru. Immediately I noticed several things: The colors can be unbelievable, the plastic is so soft, most of the baits have a flat side, indicative of the top pouring of the mold. My first sponsor was a small hand poured company from PA. The one trade off I found is that these softer baits are less durable than injection molded baits. I got into these baits so deep, I started pouring my own. I've taken lessons from several really talented guys who pour. Among then Chris Aljian from California(Al's Worm's.com) and Tom Kail from Ny(Northern Hand Poured). Both of these guys are masters of the craft. Chris' baits are always on Ebay and I recomend them 100%. I believe in matching the hatch sometimes and a custom colored hand pour is almost always the ticket.
