I was watching Bass Masters classic tournament on ESPN this weekend. They were showing one of the guys using a frog/mouse thing that hopped across the top of the water. Anyone ever use these? Work well? They seemed to work alright for him but I forget his name. If anyone could tell me where to get these I would apreeicate it.

Thanks

It's a sumo frog, it's made in Japan and marketed by Yamamoto. I bought mine at a local tackle store, call around I'm sure someone will have them. You can throw them a mile and hook-up rates are good. Best colors for me are: brown, green, and black. I shorten the skirt a little and spray a good amount of Bangs on the lure bottom. This makes it slide better over lilly pads.

Brett, there are several of these on themarket made by different manufacturers, and all of your major sporting goods stores have them as well as local tackle stores, some of the different names you can start with are the "Scum Frog", "Sumo Frog", "Phat Rat", etc.
