Ok guys, like I have said before this is my first year at bass fishing but I have had some kick @$$ experiences so far and it can only get better at the places I have to fish with big 6+ lb. bass chillen in the bottom of these lakes. So heres my questions....
What sizes hooks do you use for rigging up your plastics?
What size jig heads would you use for rigging up your plastics?
What size weight for what lures, locations, times, ect....
All of this info. can help me out fellas, thanks a bunch.

Im not too sure about hook sizes, maybe a 2/0? any thing that isnt too small, or too big. I personally like using wide gap hooks. And for weights, it all depends on how deep it is. If its around 10 Ft. or more, use a bigger weight (sorry, im not sure of any sizes). Hope it helps.

Need a little more detail...
1) What type(s) of soft plastics are you rigging?
2) How deep do you plan on fishing?
3) Are you fishing open water or weed? (If fishing weeds, how thick are they?)
4) What pound test line do you plan on using?
Here are some basic suggestions for worms from 0'-15' in sparse weed:
4" Worm = 1/0 Hook, 6lb test w/ 1/8 oz Bullet weight, or 8lb Test w/ 1/4 oz Bullet Weight
5"-6" Worm = 2/0 8lb Test w/ 1/4 oz Bullet Weight
7"-8" Worm = 3/0 8lb Test w/ 1/4 oz Bullet Weight, or 10lb test with 3/8 oz Bullet Weight
9"-11" Worm = 4/0 10lb test with 3/8 oz Bullet Weight, or 12 lb test with 3/8-1/2 oz Bullet Weight.
