Hey guy's I heard some of the guys fishing the Bassmaster classic were doing well pre-fishing with chatterbaits. I did a net search and found the chatterbait home-page. The lure looks to be interesting to me, looks like a cross between a jig and an eakers shaker. Since I still have a few shakers: I think I'll make one.Has anyone used a chatterbait? Did it work well?

Butch, you mean this

I've been using this damn thing for years, if I ever thought someone would actually pay for it, I'd be a quabillionaire right now. That's the story of my life always on the cusp of greatness, yet I settle for mediocrity. LOL

Craig; That's exactly what I was thinking about. Too often we get beat to the marketing punch by some other guy. I to; have a few tricks of my own, with child in college all investments capital is locked up for 3 more years.

Did your invention get bites?

Craig, I met the guy who makes these in Richmound VA this year and he can not keep up with the demands... I have seen these and will use this bait sometime down the road, but there are lot of them out there... There is one that I found at the INDY boat show called the Dragon Jig.. I think this one has better action than the other one. This guy like everyone else started this bait a long time ago.. But best thing it is only $4.00 per bait, not $20.00 like they are going for on ebay?

I did a seminar last week in Florida for 55 guys. I brought 12 of these with me and sold all of them. I didn't even talk about them, people just wanted them. They catch fish, no doubt about it but they are not anything magical.
