Rumor Mill: 9.3 lb. Bass caught...

Post by JoeMo »

........in NY. One of our newest board members from just over the CT border in neighboring NY caught this monster last Sunday.

If DrBass (the "handle" for this angler)sees this and could provide BassinUSA with some statistics, it would be great!

Let's hear from you, John. JoeMo

The fish was caught at Wampus on a Texas rigged worm. It was caught by the moderator of the NYBASS.com website. I do not want to give out his name wiyjout his permission. There is a photo on the website of it...It is genuine.

MMT- That's why I didn't write his name in my post.

What a heck of an achievement! And boy, does he deserve it!

Thanks for replying. JoeMo

MMT,

I went to the site and could not find the picture. Can you let me know where to find it?

Rob, go to the places to fish forum and then scroll down to a post that contains 9.3lber in the title. It should be really close to the top. It is also one of the only posts that has over 1000 views. The bass is a horse!

I'm pretty sure the fish was about 25" in length. I know most guys would believe that such a big fish would be closer to 28 or 30 but that isn't nec. the case. I took a 13-9 in Florida that was just 28" In any event, John's bass is a hemouth!!!

Woodrow!!! Wow, it's been awhile. How's your new boat? Does it have a name? And are you hitting all the good spots from NJ to NY to CT?

I have your e-address. I'll try to sit down and type a good one to you.

Bass Wishes, JoeMo

Joe,
I bought a Skeeter 150ZX and would consider it an honor to spend the day on ANY lake of your choice....
Yes ... I have been fishing the TriState area.
Best,
Woody
