Arbuckle: November 5. Elevation 1/2 ft. below normal, water 66 and stained. Channel catfish being caught on cut bait. White bass are being caught on jigging spoon at 22-35 ft. near channel. Crappie good on jigs off all docks and marked brush piles. Bass good using crankbaits, shaky head worms at 2-16 ft. and Carolina rigged lizard is also a good bait. Report submitted by Jack Melton.
Blue River: November 7. Elevation normal, water 60 and clear. Largemouth bass fair on minnows and flies. Catfish fair on liver and worms. Trout good on super dupers, rooster tails, meal worms and power bait. Report submitted by Charles Baker, technician at Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area.
Broken Bow: November 5. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits along points and around structure. Channel catfish good on cut bait on juglines and trotlines. Crappie fair on minnows and jigs in the upper end of the lake around timber and structure. Report submitted by Dru Polk, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
Eufaula: Nov. 5. Elevation 1 ft. above normal and clear. Largemouth bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits at 2-6 ft. around rocks. White bass slow. Blue catfish fair on shad at 5-15 ft. on the flats. Crappie good on jigs at 8-15 ft. Report submitted by Ed Rodebush, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.
Hugo: November 5. Elevation normal, water 72. Catfish fair on juglines in upper river channel, crappie fair on minnows. All other fishing slow. Report submitted by Jay Harvey, game warden stationed in Choctaw and Bryan counties.
Konawa: November 5. Elevation normal, water 65 and clear. Largemouth bass good crankbaits off points and roadbeds at 5-10 ft. Report submitted by Daryl Howser, game warden stationed in Seminole County.
Lower Mountain Fork River: Nov. 5. Trout fishing has improved slightly. This trend should continue as the air and water temperatures decrease. A multitude of flies have been successful. Zone 2 (red zone) has been good after the hydropower releases using a colorful streamer. Then as the river settles down, various insect imitations should work for you. Be alert to the various insects you may observe, and try to match them with your fly. The main change since last week is the Power House water releases. They have been releasing water in the mornings around daylight for 2-3 hours and again around dark for 2-3 hours. Lots of caddis and midges are hatching daily. McGee Creek: November 5. Elevation normal, water 72 and clear. Largemouth bass fair to good on soft plastic lures off of rocky points and on shad colored shallow running crankbaits on schooling fish. Crappie fair on minnows at 16-25 ft. over cedar brush. Report submitted by Larry Luman, game warden stationed in Atoka County.
Murray: No report submitted this week.
Pine Creek: November 5. Elevation below normal and clear. Bass fair on pumpkinseed lizards Carolina rigged at 10-15 ft. Crappie fair on jigs around timber. Channel catfish excellent on Canadian night crawlers around the old bridge. Report submitted by Mark Hannah, game warden stationed in McCurtain County.
Robert S. Kerr: November 5. Elevation normal, water 65 and murky. Largemouth bass fair from the surface-6 ft. using topwater baits and plastic baits. Crappie good at 8 ft. using minnows fishing the edge of the old creek channels. White bass fair at 6-8 ft. using crankbaits fishing the rock jetties in the upper end of the lake. Blue catfish fair at 3-6 ft. using fresh cut bait fishing the flat next to the old river and creek channels. Report submitted by Rick Olzawski, game warden for Haskell County.
Sardis Lake: October 22. Elevation normal. Largemouth bass good to fair in coves on spinnerbaits and plastics. Blue catfish goof on jugs with cut shad or shrimp. Flathead fair on trotlines baited with sunfish or shad. Crappie good to excellent around brush piles, bridges and the tower on minnows. Walleye excellent around points jigging. Texoma: November 5. Elevation 1 ft. below normal, water 70 and clear. Largemouth, smallmouth and striped bass fair to good with the best bait being live bait. White bass, channel and blue catfish and crappie fair to good on live bait at 10-15 ft. All other fishing is slow. Report submitted by Danny Clubb, game warden stationed in Bryan County.
Wister: November 5. Elevation normal and murky. Largemouth bass excellent on spinnerbaits around stumps and logs. Crappie good on live minnows around timber.
