When it comes to soft plastic baits, I have two basic (but confident) colors--- watermelon seed and green punpkinseed. I keep my color selection very simple. When I am fishing a tube and an RT SLUG (fluke like bait), my #1 choice is a white color bait (especialy the RT SLUG).

My favorite for tubes would be the watermelon and green pumpkin. For worms I do not have a specific color. Lizards would have to be a watermelon w/ red flake.

Lizards,Watermelon seed with the tips dipped in Chart. Green pumkin dipped the same. For tubes I like the white tubes because I fish them weightless alot. If I add weight to them I fish the Green pumkin and pumkin seed. For worms I like the Camo, and the all to famous Blue Fleck power worm. When all else fails I would have to say that more money has been won, among us three brothers, (Team Staley) on a blue fleck power worm than any other worm out there. It is our go to bait when nothing seem to work. No matter what the water color. Confidence in it I would say is the desiding factor in it. We know we can catch fish so we use it more.

I'm with Mo, except add rootbeer with green and pepper - dye top half chartreuse, then dye that part with fire. Unique to say the least!
