The Salmon eggs may catch you a catfish or bluegill, but not likley any bass. All of the suggestions from the staff are right-on!! It sounds like the lake is clear since you mention seeing tons of bass. You might try some good topwater baits, like a spitter or popper. Don't rull out minnow baits either. Slim line minnow baits take a lot of quality fish in clean water. Rapala and Rogues are good brand choices. Maybe a Rat-L-Trap would work too, move it fast for reflex strikes. Good luck, my friend. Thanks alot guys, and the lake for the most part is clear, but does get murky in the deeper ends. Didnt get a whole lot of action unfortunately. I used a mini minnow lure, and didnt have much luck. I do have a rat l trap, and a couple of poppers, and ill have to give them a try. The reason i didnt this trip is because they were in my other box. I guess ill just have to get used to using artificial. Like i said im pretty new to lures, ive always used live bait. And i did end up buying the trilene brendan suggested, and im sure it will help when i master the art of lures. I didnt get to try out a slug-go, but look forward to it next week sometime. Thanks a lot guys for the suggestions, and I will try the faster method for the lures and see how that helps me. Do you guys prefer the stop go method, or does it just vary? Again sorry for the noob questions, i really have been fishing for quite some time, ive just used live my whole life. Thanks again Mike
