Thought you might like to know, fellow Pro Staffer, Dan Galusha's Mother is in the hospital with serious heart problems. A little prayer would be appreciated. Thanks, Johnnie Crain.

Danny,

My heart goes out to you. I know what you must be going thru because I have been there myself. The only thing that I can say is be strong and positive. Things happen in life for a reason (we may not know why at the time). I hope that everything turns out for the best. If you ever need a friend to talk to, you can count on me.

Dan,

You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Be strong and keep the faith.

Proverbs 16:24
Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.

Psalm 29:11
The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.

Thanks guys. This is all greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of things going on at the moment, and Mom's heart attack really topped it off.

Perhaps her misfortune will be a lesson to all of us. She started having signs of a heart attack on Thursday, but I was not able to convince her to go to the hospital until the next Monday after Easter. She had an artery that was 99% blocked in the lower part of her heart. Because of the long period of time she now has damage to 25% of the heart. Actually this is not as bad as it could have been. The lesson to us all - if you are getting any strangeness in the chest, back, neck, jaw, arms or legs, be sure to get evaluated. It is best to be safe than sorry.

She is now home, but there is still a long way to go. This is further complicated with the fact that my Father has Alzheimer's and does not full realize the seriousness of the problem. He also starts arguments, and does many things to get her upset, so you can see why I say there is a long road to come.

Mom is also a fisherman. She will be starting her "rehab" at a hospital that has a lake. This lake has some big bass and bluegill. I told the doctor to let her take her fishing tackle when she gets to walk the path around the lake. Then again, she is supposed to walk, and once she starts fishing - well you all know what that means.

I'm sorry I haven't been on the site as much as I should to help answer questions, but as I can see we are a family at Bassin' USA, and the prayers, thoughts, and understanding is greatly appreciated.

Again, thank you, "brother" Johnnie, and all the rest for everything
Dan
