hello everybody, i went to the lagoon today w/ my grandpa and dad to get some bass
when we got there we got some some sandwiches from the store. when we got to the lake, atleast ten boats were waiting in line for the event. when it was our turn, we could not go in because we were not in the event. we went to the other entrance and and fished next to the ramp. i threw the floater bbz and deadsticked it for about 20 sec, when i reeled in i felt pressure and set the hook. i reeled in and got a solid 1 lber. it was about 3 inches longer than the bbz. the boats started launching so we launched our inflatable, we got about to the fishing dock and figured out we had two big holes in it. we got up next to the ramp and unloaded all the stuff. while my dad put everything in the car, i got one follower next to the dock. i moved to the riprap then went back to the boat dock and saw a huge trout but didnt catch it

water level went down

Sorry to hear about your inflatable... "been there, popped that" At least you were able to land one and see a chaser.

Originally Posted By: Roboworm99in the mornings you may get a few early fish waking the bait...best to have a floater and let it sit for a long time...me i dont have the patience to do it...i get to pumped up...so i will usually go to other baits....but if you have the patience, it can be deadly...look for ambush structure and fire the bait and let it float...you will have fish sit under and just look it...the waves and natural current will move the bait...give it a twitch...and then hold on...

there is barely any struture there though, but it works

i only let it sit for 30 seconds, then twitch
