i am fishing my first tournament in south carolina this saturday on lake secession and never fish it before. could use any helpful hints about this lake. what work best in dec and what stratgy should i go with. thanks

Have you tried to get a map of the lake from scdnr.com . It should have the fish attractors on it and other info on it . Most times you can find this in you local bait shops aswell . And too you can ask them what seems to be working well this time of year .Good luck to ya.

I'm with Nunz! Would add: The points with rock would be worth checking out. Run from Rock structured point to point and select the ones that show the highest water temps. I would be willing to bet a Jig bite might be there as well. No knowing the lake I also wonder if a swim bait bite might also be there as many SC lakes have shown this before.
