Looks like you guys are expanding, that's great. I see you have a CT division as well.

Would you mind explaining your tournament path starting at the state level and going through to your classic? Also curious where you typically host your classics (what state).

Thanks,
Brendan

Thanks for asking Brendan. Yes, we are in CT and have been expanding rapidly. We added close to 30 new divisions this year alone.

All members fish any of their local divisions with only 250pts needed to qualify for a Regional. Divisions are a weekend 5 event or weeknight 10 event format.

It is very easy to get the 250pts needed. First place is 100pts, and one point down to the last place fish caught. If a member or team fish but do not catch a fish, they receive 50pts weekend/25pts weeknight.

Most get their points and continue to fish anyway. There are also Open Points champions, Division Pts. champions that get a free entry into a Regional of their choice and advance to Regional Pts champs. Regional Pts champs receive free entry into the Classic and compete for extra money against the other Regional champions. All qualified fish a Regional of their choice or as many as they want. The top 40% advance to the Classic held the following May of the next year. Our Classics are held on KY/Barkley Lakes in KY.

Hope I answered your questions? You can find out more at USA Bassin

Yes, you did answer my questions. I did have a look at your website, but did not find the specifics I was looking for. At this time do you guys know what state the regionals will be held in if one were to qualify through let's say CT? (I'm assuming NH based on your website) I was also trying to find out how your payouts work for the divisionals and regionals?

Your help is appreciated...

Brendan

Yes, you are correct. CT would go to NH for their Regional, unless something has to be changed.

Payouts are 70% with other 30% going to USA Bassin/Classic and Director for running the tournaments.

I hope you decide to join us! Or, if you or someone you know wants to start a division in your area we would be happy to speak with them!

Thanks again for your interest.

I live in NY, but CT is my area! I'm on Long Island, so CT has some of the closest lakes to where I live. I appreciate the feedback. That 70% is paid to what percent of the field? Sorry for all the questions, but people around here like to read more than post...

The payback is 1 in 5. So depends on how many boats are at each tournament to determine the payback.

So that's 20% of the field:

5 boats pays 1st
10 boats pays 1st and 2nd
15 boats pays 1st, 2nd and 3rd
etc.

Is that what you are saying?

Thanks!

On down the line.

Thanks!
