got up to the lagoon today.this was a last minute trip since i had a MB performance the day before from 6-10. i was tired at all.
so i was expected so good action with the wind but i didnt catch anything so far. i really didnt see any live except fo rsome 1 inch bass. so i brought my fly rod and was casting a nymph when i get a bite, my first sunfish on a flyrod!! it was hard cause i didnt know how to catch a fish on a fly rod. it was getting pretty crowded by then and Fireball and his buddy abandoned me. i decided to leave to a small pond near my house. it is always packed with tilapia that are so stupid you can stick a TINY shred of nightcrawler on a 8/0 hook and you will catch them. as i was going there Fieball texts me that he is catch bass in his new spot. i am really pissed i left because I KNOW i would have caught more bass that both fireball and hid friend since i knew what i was doing.

Lol, I would have caught more fish than you.
I am getting a lot better at drop shotting now! It is my method of choice for lagoon bass!

Catch any of those tilapia?

Ha Ha! im here Swimbait! I have just been traveling around fishing at different spots. Clearlake was awesome, Sam Rayburn was epic.. Casitas was a bust..
