Just curious if anyone ice fishes for bass. I have caught several while ice fishing, but never intentionally fished for bass. Mostly we catch crappie, bluegill, small bass and an ocassional catfish. With 10 inches of snow and 40 MPH wind, I'd say our open water season is over here in S.E. Iowa.

It doesn't get cold enough here to ice fish, haha. Ice fishing looks really awesome though.

Never tried it myself but I've heard the bite can be pretty good sometimes.

Showed that to my Grnadson, he no longer wants to go ice fishing-I told him that's why I quit.
