Partly Cloudy, Air Temp: 86 Degrees, Water Temp: 67 Degrees and stained
Winning Technique and Pattern:
Weighing a tournament limit of 5 fish (all Largemouth) for 20.06 lbs anchored by a 5.49 Largemouth the team of Kevin
Springer and Tim Travis fished ½ ounce Jewell Jigs (hand made skirts in oops color) with Big Bite Yo Daddy trailers in Green Pumpkin color and Spro Fat Little John crankbaits in Nasty Shad color. They fished the Tennessee River, targeting rock piles in 6 to 8 feet of water where the post spawn fish were staging and feeding up. They were able to cull through 3 limits of fish to get their winning weight. The team would like to thank Jewell Jigs, Spro, Big Bite Baits, Gamakatsu, Jet A Marina, Bassin USA and Matt Ledbetter for their support.
