If you stretch the waxed string really tight between the units you can get HD! If you turn the transducer sideways you get front rear pictures, sometimes that's more useful!

Lowrance Side Imaging Advise
Nice set up. I went the cheap route or I thought was cheap. I found a Lowrance xog gps that works in your car or with a map card on the water. Well the unit was on sale a Wally mart for 70 bucks.But the map cards are 140 bucks each. I just wanted gps I didn't need all the other stuff. I'll try it for this year and see how it works. Maybe next year I'll up grade everything else.
