Best Colors for Soft Plastics

Post by BassFishin76 »

What are the best colors for some of the popular soft plastics that would be used for bass? (senko, brush hog, tubes, etc.)

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but it helps to know what area you are from (or plan to fish)?

As for my personal favorites black, black/blue, melon pepper, green pumpkin, white and chartreuse.

I mainly fish from shore for large mouth bass in stained canals, ponds and decent sized lakes. I'm from New Jersey, Middlesex county.

Well of course Green pumpkin, Watermeleon candy,Black with red flake,June bug are the mainstays. but I also use red shad, smoke and pearl, watermeleon red. Most of the waters I fish are clear to slightly stained. so the more natural colors prodominate. But the darker the water the darker the lure.
