Tom from Kilgore TX.
Took a friend one day sight fishing. Found this 9 lb female on bed in 5' of water. He tried everything to get her to bite with no results. Tied on owner jig rig and floating worm and she was caught in about 5 minutes.
They worked very well, rugged the floating worm on a owner jig rig. The bedding fish couldn't stand the worm. Having really good results right now using floating worm using 2/0 hook and split shot about 2' up from hook fishing weed lines. These baits really float nice. Will be ordering more in a week
