I live 20 min south of Trenton NJ, I was wondering if the pro staff team has ever fished the Deleware River, if so any good spots to fish and what were you catching them on.
Thanks,
John :

I fish the Delaware river all the time. There are many days that are rewarding and some days impossible. Several popular spots are Dredge Harbour, Tullytown Cove and the old Coast Guard cove, just to name a few. Also as things warm-up there are many grass beds that pop-up all over. The big thing is to learn how to fish tidal water. Once you master this you will know what to look for and soon you will locate your own hot spots. If you would like you can email me direct and I will send you a couple of articles I wrote on just this topic. These may shorten your learning curve. There are several good tournaments throughout the year on the river including the ABA. They hold all their tournaments there.
