Thanks for taking the time to read my question, I really take all opinions into consideration.... anyway, as I was... I was just wondering if buying a lighting rod would be worth it or not??? I absalutly love flipping and pitching, so I was wondering if there a good pitching and flipping stick or not and if so watch size would you go with for both styles of fishing.... any comments will help. Thanks.
good luck on the water.....

Luke,
You can never go wrong with a Lightning Rod, they are very good. The 6' 6" Model will work fine, 7' rods take some expertise to use and sometimes have limited applications. I have used various Lightning Rods and for years and just love them. They perform excellently, look professional and are reasonably priced. Good luck fishin' Johnnie

I agree with Johnnie on this one Luke. This is a great rod. I love the Lightning rods. They have proven to be a very good rod to me. And they are only $40 at walmart.

Hey guys: I must agree:lightening rods are very good sticks. I bought 4 at XMAS trying to spend the money wisely. All of these rods are excellent as far as action and feel. The thing I like the best is the rod eyes. I have a bad habit of stepping on my rods and damaging ceramic guides. The eyes on these rods are durable as I have stepped on these already and a slight tweek of the eye makes them good to go. I would strongly recomend these to anyone.
Good investment!
