Pro Staff,
Could use a lihelp. I am fishing the Bud Lite Open on Mark Twain Lake on September 3, there typically are over 500 boats, so the lake fishes small. Any tips or good locations would be appreciated. Been on the lake before with only so-so results. Was boat #487 last time, all my coffee was gone, had lunch and told every joke I know before I got to blast off.

I wish I could help Johnnie. The fact of the matter is, I was going to ask you if you knew anything about the place. It is only 45 minutes from where I work.

Scott, it's 3 1/2 hours for me. It's a nice lake, lots of stabnding timber in all coves, several good size creek channels and the main lake points hold fish. I do know from reading tournament results, those fish like something with red color in it, so I plan to use Bleeding Red Rat-L-Traps, and Bleeding Bait-Daiichi hooks. If you're that close, go check it out for me-LOL. Johnnie

Come to think of it, my dad said something about red shad plastic worms one time. He used to fish it alot, back when fishing didnt appeal to me.

Johnnie, how did you do on Mark Twain? Can't imagine being in a tourney with 500 boats. Carl
