Which Worm?

Okay Pro Staff. Let's see which worm is preferred over others.
If you could use only one for one day, which type? Straight tail-curly tail- ribbed worm-swipe tail-slugo-senko-french fry-paddle/beaver tail- or creature bait type worms??
Conditions: Sunny, warm, slight breeze, water from eight to fifteen feet deep and slightly stained. Bass are biting, but not overly aggressive. Lets hear it!

mud bugs i think thats what they are called i like the duley tails good attractor
black and blue
+ i cut the arms of tords the top so they dance in the water

Johnnie, without a doubt I would go with the Senko, I feel even finicky bass will eat a Senko.

What is the best way to rig the Senko. I have some Tiki sticks, and have caught more fish on the zoom centipede. I rig both of them the same-Texas rig with a 3/16 oz bullet weight.

Tiki-Sticks all the way - hooked wacky style! I prefer black/blue fleck in slightly stained to clear water. I've had a great season using those this year.

Johnnie your post was to the pro staff but since others responded so will I. The key to your question is water clarity and fish not biting aggresively. I would fish a kanami, senko, or tiki stick. The bait would be the 4 inch version as small baits get more bites with finicky bass. I would use an ultra light weight hook to slow the fall rate even more. The bait would be fished weight-less and lifted and dropped very slowly. If weight was needed for casting distance, i would used tacky weight attached to the hooks radius. Color would depend on the bait fish found in the waterway.

Johnnie,

While the Senko is awesome and I have not one bad thing to say about it, I do have a new favorite. It is the Yamamoto Kreature. Rigged weightless, you can get it to fall very slow like the Senko. It is compact yet bulky and it is an all around awesome bait.

jeremiah: you opened my eyes to a new soft plastic. I had to surf the net to find this bait and it looks very impressive. I have used Garys son's (Derek) bait the nories bug with great results. Now I will have to part with more cash on the yammy creature bait.
I am a confirmed soft bait junky thanks for feeding me another.
