Lunker Sauce

Post by carl »

After reading an article on Carolina Lunker Sauce I ordered some (crawfish). After I got it and started using it I noticed it didn't smell like crawfish, and I wasn't catching any fish. It smelled more like plastic than anything else. I e-mailed them and they said that was contrary to all the reports they had received, they had checked the batch and everything was fine. I had the feeling that the marketing rep thought I was nuts. Has anyone had the experience of using this scent, and what do you think? Carl

Lunker Sauce

Carl, I've never used the "sauce", but it is an interesting question. I wonder how many times this happens? I've never had a bad batch of any fish scent, but it is possible, as with any other product. Hope to see more posts on this. Would like to warn my readers and listeners if there's a problem with this product.

Lunker Sauce

Carl,

I have had completely opposite results with Carolina Lunker Sauce IMO its fantastic. It is by far the best product on the market, I picked some up this year in February at the Atlanta Fishing & Hunting Expo from the company - they had a booth there. The company is owned/run by doctor and his two sons. I have had so much success with the garlic and crawfish this year, I went back and purchased 2 additional bottles of Garlic and the Craw and 1 bottle each of Menhaden and Threadfin. FYI - I also do alot of inshore fishing in Florida for reds (with guides) and Lunker Sauce is the rage, the captain I fish with swears by the crawfish and we caught the fish to prove it. Sorry you've had a bad experience, but crawfish and menhaden are my favorites.
