Fishing Trip

Just thought that I would share. Me and a couple of buddies went to my aunts pond this past weekend and had a great weekend. Between the five of us we caught probably 45 largemouth. They were hitting on just about everything we put in the water. A front had just come through on Thursday/Friday and the day was fairly windy with temps in the mid 80's, water was clear/stain with overcast to partly cloudy skies. The most successful bait of the weekend was a Texas rig Zoom fire and ice color worm. I was also very successful in the evening with chug bugs. Wish I had brough a camera, nothing big taken the largest like 4 lbs., but it was great fun. We kept about 8 keepers and grilled them up, good times.

I alos fished a pond the other day and caught about 25 in an hour and a half, all little guys. I wish the lakes around here were that easy.Carl
