Bassbuster ,
I would first start looking for schools of bait fish moving back into pockets or creek arms. Start shallow and then gradually working deeper. Start with a fast retrieve and gradually slow down until you find the correct speed. Use a natural color spinnerbait with double willow blades. I prefer silver and nickel willows in the fall. hope this helps good luck Scotty

Bassbuster,
I agree, look for pods of baitfish. I like to use a large bladed single spin in the fall, either fast across the surface making a vee wake or using a stop-drop and pull retrieve. Stop the bait after a fast retrieve, let the bait fall a couple feet, pull hard to get the blade burning again, and rise it back to the surface. I sometimes use a brown skirt with tandem copper blades when fishing rock shorelines, works well. Good luck. Johnnie
