Dashing through the snow, on a cold and winter day.
I knew that it was futile, but I cast anyway.
I felt the strike come hard, I jerked with all my might.
This could be the big one, I've tried for all my life.
Jerk and wind, jerk and wind, it took me me several tries,
I finally caught the biggest carp that ever bit my line.

I went last Sunday, and it was cold. I got 1 bite, but it was nice to get out on the water.

And a Merry Christmas to all from Okie Land too.

Local Club had a tourny two weeks ago, I missed it, but of 12 boats, there were ten limits wieghed, mostly Spots, a sprinkling of Largmouth, and four Smallmouth, one weighed over 5, took big bass.
