Tagging System

Post by jeremy_221 »

I am wanting to get a tagging system for fish. Could anyone give me any information on what kind would be best that is cheap and not hard to do? Or maybe someone could tell me where to buy them at. I really want to start keeping the data from these fish I catch off these different ponds back home. thanks

Go to Google, and enter "fish tagging systems." You name it it's there, finding what you want will, as always take a little work. If you have trouble, drop me a line.

I would try calling the local DNR facility.

Bassmaster, consult your Conservation agent before you do any tagging. In some states, it's illegal to personally tag fish. Probably okay in private ponds, but most likely not allowed in county or state lakes. Good luck with your project, can be informitive and fun. Johnnie
