Mac, I grew up fishing Table Rock, Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork, all deep clear lakes. I love those crazy Kentucky spotted bass. I usually use a gray or crawfish color Wiggle Wart worked off the deep side of points and at bluff ends. Also where rock slides have occurred. Firetiger is another good color. You won't find any gray Wiggle Warts, you have to paint hem. Mix equal parts of balck and white exterior paint and hand paint the lures, two coats, then clear coat with clear fingernail polish. This not only makes the gray color, but also makes the bait slightly heavier which will add two feet or more to the lures depth range. Fish them medium fast. Most smaller crankbaits will take spotted bass as will a small jig and eel or plastic worms, a Purple Creme SCoundrel works great. Jump it off the bottom in about 15 feet of water along deeper bluffs. Good luck. Johnnie
