URGENT!!!! reply asap, farm ponds!!!

hey guys, i am going on vacationin the midwest where there are alot of farm ponds. i will be using a float tube, but i've never fished a farm pond, so what is the best tackle, and techniuque to use, weather has been moderatly warm, but clear. i need this reply as soon as possible becuase i'm leaving tommorrow!

I would recommend you try to take along a couple of different spinner baits 1/8 – ¼ ounce white and chartreuse for colors, plastic worms 4-6 inch in purple, red, and watermelon. Beyond these: jointed Rapala top water bait J 9 or J10 in silver and black, a slop bait (frog), or a old pond stand by a reaper. I have always personally done well in ponds with smaller sized spinner baits running the bait parallel along the shoreline a foot or two away. One thing to remember: Be stealthy and quiet not only during fishing but entering the water as not to spook the fish.
