Just visited Bill Dance's web site which has a message board. I was amazed at some of the just plain bad advice that was posted. One member was asking about fishing in the rain. One writes, and tells him to go home!Anyway this site has been, and I hope, will continue to be the best site I have ever found. I even like to consider some of the guys friends, even though we've never met. Bass'n USA !! Carl

Carl, we all appreciate your feelings for Bassin USA and agree with you. Some other sites fall way short of being helpful, and often give worthless advice or even harmful advice. I'll stick with Bassin USA.

Hey all, just to give my opinion on this.I have visited Bill's web site on several occations, and have great luck with some of his advice.Though everybody here has been very helpful ( and I'll keep comming here for tips )I'll still visit Bill Dance's site,as he is one of my all time favorite fisherman.I hope this opinion does not upset anyone here. You all are still the best for advice. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion. Hello again.I just read everyone's reply, and I agree on two levels.First level is,you all give awesome advice.Your tips have netted me some great bass.As always I'll be comming back for more help in the future.Second level is this.I have also visited Bill's web site, and got some good advice,on spinnerbait fishing. As bluegill said earlier,he is a great fisherman.I also like him,as he is one of several of my favorites. I agree, that most of the sites give bad or dumb advice for bass fishing. As you can see,I have been back on several occations, for tips,as I'll continue to do so.But that doesn't mean, that I won't continue to look at other sites,to see what they say.Bill Dance is a great fisherman,as I love to watch him on t.v. Thanks from me,for being great friends, and voiceing my opinion. thanks, bassman

Most any fishing web-page will have some information that benefit some. I think it truly behooves a fisherman to surf the net to locate any source of information. Simply put: knowledge is power. Personally I surfed a considerable amount before I found Bassinusa. Not to take anything away from other sites but: Bassinusa provides a forum that allows fisherman of all skill level to communicate and learn from all. Latest techniques, pro advice, equipment info to name a few. I am amazed at the level of professionalism of the Pro's, members are very cordial to each other as well.

Didn't mean to cast any disparaging remarks about Bill Dance. He's always been one of my favorites; I caught my first big bass using a rig I'd seen on his show, and I watch his show every week. More often than not I pick up useful info. from him. I agree with ya all, good luck. Carl

I've learned a lot from everyone here including myself.
When I signed up for this I wondered sometimes if I would have the knowledge to pass along, and how I could do it. I hope that I have helped, as this is what the site was started for. It's all in there its just getting it out in words that sometimes really get me.
I love it here and cant think of any place I'd rather be!!

Well said Conley, I think we all have felt that way at one time or another. We don't ever say anything is Gospel-just our thoughts and what we have learned that works for us.
