I was rereading your post on jigs, and how you rig a hook with a band for a skirt. I'm not quiet sure how you rig it. Are you essentialy running a jig untied, up and doen the line, with a hook and worm at the end? Do you tie the jig to the line? If not, how do you get a good hook set on the jig? Since jigs are a staple with me I'd like to try this rig. thanks, carl

Carl sorry about that maybe I did not make it clear enough. I have been searching for a picture or link to what I'm talking about but cant seem to find it. So I will try to explain what I mean..
It is a special weight that I use that the skirt attatches too. It looks just like a regular worm hook except at the bottom of the weight it has an extention like on the back of a spinnerbait collar so that the skirt can attach to it. I put this weight on with the skirt attached and then the hook and worm.
I finally found a picture of it if you will go here and look at the one call Slip Jig Weight. 5th one down.

Hope that helps. It works really good in heavy cover..
