-on-3, here are some listings from the Mgazine I write for Fishing and Hunting News. Folsom Lake, Recently flooded leaving tons of wood structure along shorelines, should be great.
Eastman Laken near Madera, hot spot for hawgs.
Lake Sonoma, water slightly stained, fish in shallows. Smallmouth too!
Lake Casitas, best chance at 10# bass. Use swim baits.
Trinity Lake, jerkbaits, crankbaits and plastics.
Sacramento Delta, West Delta area. No bad place to fish, fish are everywhere.
Diamond Valley Lake, Hemet, Ca. Fish just below light penetration max.

You should order the Magazine, full of good photos and information. Johnnie

I'd go with trout colored swim baits with
a single hook, perhaps four inches long.Since you are bank fishing, I'd also opt for some 8 to 10 inch plastic worms, watermelon, blue or red. 1/2 ounce spinerbaits with gold blades is another good bet, cast parallel to the shore. The gold color represents trout and golden shiners that the CA. bass are used to eating, use a salt and pepper skirt and maybe a six inch plastic worm trailer in green. A 1/2 ounce jig and pig is also a good bet, try brown on brown. A large buzz bait in chartreuse might also work cast parallel to rock or wood cover. Good luck, keep us posted. Johnnie

A week or two ago i went a fished a pond on some farmers land that i wasnt supposed to with my brother and it was very secluded we had to walk 15 minutes to it after we parked our car. but he was using a frog and getting alot of hits with it and i was using a Yamamoto slow sinking worm in watermelon i think but it worked great we were they for about 2 hours and we both caught 5 fish all but one or two were about 2-3 pounds it was really fun.

On3 Sounds like good fishing, but a bad habit to get into, trespassing could get you in trouble or even shot. Have you asked permission? It's not worth a few bass to break the law. Try other places. Johnnie

I've only been to this place once but my brother goes quite a bit but i have never seen anyone around or a house to ask i think the farmer just has this land for his cows but it used to be legal but i guess people were throwin parties and all that there so it became illegal. kinda ***** for the people who want to get out there and fish cause a lot of good size fish were out there.
