Well i recently went fishing at lake alan henry and did very well after i figured the fish out. I was murdering them on a zoom trick worm behind a mojo rockhopper carolina rigged. If that makes sense!! The rockhopper weight kept me from getting hung up all day. Anyway with that being said the lake is full of thick nasty brush even in 35 ft of water. I stuck a few very good bass that i lost and landed a few, however i noticed that i was getting wrapped in the tree's and even with braided line it was hopeless once the fish wrapped. By dragging the carolina rig i was over and under branches consistently. For some reason i got tangled easily. I know the proper ways to land a fish and still i lost quite a few very large fish. One in fact broke my rod in two. Biggest fish i ever sunk a hook in. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy my situation??? Thanks again guys!!

Hawg HUnter, frankly, there's very little you can do about your situation. I suggest a very stiff rod and quick hook set and a relentless retrieve when haulin' them in. High spped gears help. Get those fish up and out of the cover asap. Yea, I know, easier said than done. Good luck, sounds like a lot of fun to me, even if some get away. Johnnie
