Frank- Actually there hasn't been that much
activity on the lake over the years. It's a private lake in a gated community. Our water is certified monthly by State Inspectors.

As to lead being in the water, I'm sure that a number of sinkers and split shot have found there way into the lake, but even in mid-summer only about 5 boats fish and that's mostly on weekends. Kids fish the shore for
panfish and sometimes bass.

Being one of the frequent lake users, I try to be careful with split shot and also with mono. Thanks for asking. Much obliged.

I have found myself swithching to more tungston weights and steel weights just to do my part on helping the enviroment. We all should make the big change away from lead, it WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR FISHING!!
