Hello, I live in Lyons, New York. I have a creek in my back yard that flows into the Erie Canal. I would like to know what is the best time to fish for bass?

I live in MN and I like getting out early. Nobody else on the lake is nice, and the bass sure seem to bite then.

Pizza King, the best times for me include, just before a rain, during a rain, just after a rain, cloudy days, clear days, calm days , windy days, nightime, and any other time I have the time to fish. There are no good or bad times to fish. Some like it early, I prefer late evenings. Given a choice, I fish daylight till dark and often all night long in summer.
Given your information, I would fish the little creek when it's cloudy, so the fish can't see you as well and they'll be more active. During a light rain is excellent too. Good luck, have fun. Johnnie
