The Banjo Minnow can be effective if the conditionsd are ideal, clear, calm water. It's basically best fished just like a Slug-o etc. Not a cure-all, but a decent bait at times. Rate it 3 stars. Johnnie

When I was stuck in the Chgo. Metro area I used them with great success on heavily fished small lakes. I agree with Johnny, #3.Carl

On the west coast here,I use them often.Mostly when there's a breeze, and heavily fished areas.I would rate them a 5 star. They work for me. Bassman

They work very well, IF YOU FISH THEM LIKE WAYNE SAYS!
The key to the banjo is to allow it to "die".
When you need more baits, buy some Manns Shadow minnows. That's what wayne started using when the banjo was in devopement stage. The system and video will teach you a lot about fishing so I think it is worth the money at least once!
