Potomac river

This is my first post as i come and read all the posts all the time. I have been doing a lot of studying for the potomac and will be there on june 9 for the BFL tournmant I am thinking the fish will be all post spawn and some in summer pattern so my ? is should i fish main river grass or up in the creeks any advice and why would be of help.

By June 9, the bass will have spawned and will most likely be in the grass. If the water becomes muddy, look for the backwaters to produce, some fish never leave the backwaters where they spawn. If you can locate some grass with rock or wood mixed in, you've found a hot spot. Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing. Johnnie
