I am conducting a survey of how many separate rods and reels you guys generally carry in your boat. How many casting? How many Spinning? How many Spin Cast? Others?
I carry eight bait casting. Four spinning and zero spin cast. Johnnie

Thanks everyone. Interesting to note there were no spincast units listed. I believe I would use one on occassion if they made a fast-strong-dependable one. I would probably flip and pitch with it. I simply don't trust any of them except for fun fishing for panfish.
Looks like the average angler carries 6.50 casting units and 2.90 spinning units.
Anyone with a survey question? Feel free to post it, I'd like to learn more about everyone's opinions.

Johnnie,
You've fished and traveled enough with me to just about know what I carry. If in the Ranger it is 8 casting, and 2 spinning, in the two man it is 3 casting, and 2 spinning.
Best of fishing,
Dan

Thanks Dan, good to hear from you again. Been tough fishing with all this heat huh? Went to West Lake last week caught two dozen bluegill, one crappie and two little bass-pitiful! Johnnie
