Fishing the Krocodile

Hey Fellows,
I was womdering if anyone has had any success in jigging the chrome Krocodile over suspended fish in deep water?..10 - 15 feet

Chuck7, I haven't used the Luhr Jensen Krocodile spoon for jigging. Since it is a fluted spoon I don't feel it would be all that effective in deep water, these spoons tend to flutter on the fall and tangle the hook on the line way too often. My personal favorite for straight line vertical jigging is a Hopkin's 45 Shorty.
I'm sure if there were fish below you in the 10 foot range you could probably catch a couple on the Kroc., but it wouldn't be my choice of baits. I do my jigging in 30 plus feet of water. Good luck with your fishing, Johnnie
