I JUST WANT TO WISH ALL THE CLASSIC CONTENDERS GOOD LUCK AND SAFE TRIP. HOPE THE DRIVE UP THERE ISN'T TO MUCH OF A HASSALE WITH ALL THAT HAS HAPPEND IN THE LAST FEW WEEKS. I THINK THERE SHOULD BE A MOMENT OF SILANCE BEFORE THE START OF THE CLASSIC FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE WTC ATTACKS. ANYWAY WISH I WAS THERE BUT YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE BABY MAY SHOW HIM OR HER SELF. GOOD LUCK!!

Ray really deserves to fish the Classic. The timing with the birth of his Child probably won't let him be there.
Tournaments are tightly scheduled, but all children arrive in this world when they are good and ready. Ray, we wish you and your Wife the very best. Lunker size?

JoeM, wasn't the classic held this past weekend? Are there any results to post? I for one would love to hear the results!

AKO- The only thing I know is that BC- Our Fearless Leader- won. Today we talked about a dozen other things, but I never got another word out of him concerning the Classic.
Have no fear, I'll keep after him to give more than Name/Rank/Serial #.
Good Luck and Good Fishing JoeM

Today I talked with the guy who's boat the 2nd Place angler was in at Greenwood. He said that his partner "almost" caught BC, but as we all know, "almost" might just as well have been "never".
He also told me that the wind was unrelenting
and that most boats stayed up near the creek or eventually moved up there. Apparently other than Brendan and Steve only one other angler caught fish. I wasn't privy to the name of that person.
Not being a fan of Greenwood, I can sympathize with the other participants.
I'm told the newsletter will provide the whole story. That right, Ed? JoeM

It's over a week since the Classic. What, no box score? Even New Englanders deserve to read boxscores. JoeM

Joe...........Unfortunately, with all that is going on this month in the wonderful world of L.I.B., there is not much information with regard to the Classic or final qualifier totals at this time. I made several calls however, in an attempt to obtain this information for the October issue of "Taps" but was unsuccessful. Hopefully it will find its way into the November issue??? The newsletter became quite full, very quickly this month with various other news, so I make mention in my editorial that all tournament results will absolutely be included in the next issue!

Ed- That's great. As you know, I stopped at the meeting last night but didn't stay. Too tired and emotionally downtrodden after being at Earl's Grandson's Wake.
I read the proposals in the Bass Taps when I got home and will be down to vote at the next meeting.
Good Luck and Good Fishing, JoeM
