Mike- By any chance are they the baits pictured in Lucky Craft's ad on page 13 of July's B.A.S.S. Times? Some look flat and some look fat.

I'd better put some money away or start winning some lunker money. lol

Yup those are the Fat CB series of crankbaits. Although they are a little pricey, they have paid off for me time and time again. The new Lucky Craft ad should run in next months Bassmasters, it will include their new Buzzbait & Splashtail topwater. Wait till you see these!!! Oh Boy!!!

Joe, as you know I love all Lucky Craft lures and they are worth every penny, they level the playing field when the bass want a crank bait or topwater. I use the Sammy, Bevy Shad, pointer 78 and Moonsault. I can't wait until I can get some of them. Good Bassin Dan Bass

Mike & Dan- I have the 100 Pointer in American Shad (Cost me an extra buck for that color) Now if I can just stay away from toothy critters....

Friend Bernie Mitchell uses Pointers, Sammys and a Moonsault. All seem to draw fish via great designs, realistic colors and excellent hardware.

Looking to own some more. JoeMo

PS- Mike, I saw the buzz bait in the FT Retailer. Looks like another winner.

Dan, I love the Sammy. I mainly go with the 85 and 65 but at times I do throw the bigger one in a custom Hughes paint job....sweet!!!!

MMT- My friend Mitch Bernstein loves the Sammys. He claims they walk the dog by themselves; they don't need an angler to do it. I'm saving for one or two.

I just obtained a SPRO Chug Minnow 45 in Perch thanks to a buddy. Third cast brought a decent bass aboard. It's in my bag now.

Every time I see these new-fangled baits, I wonder if I should go out and get a job. Then I look out at my lake, take a look at the clock (it's 10 AM) and I think to myself:
"Naaaaaa!" lol
