Sight-fishing a 5.15 lb smallmouth bass locked on a bed with clear water hookset and catch

Bed fishing doesn’t always go as planned, but this time, everything clicked. We locked in on a big smallmouth sitting tight on a shallow bed, waited for the right moment, and stuck the hook perfectly. The fish weighed in at 5.15 lbs and gave us a textbook sight-fishing sequence. If you want to learn how to time your cast and presentation just right for bedded smallmouth, this is the clip.
