The basic package is the PHELIX, a Bass Cat painted trailer and a Mercury 25EH. This is one hot rig! The PHELIX is all fiberglass. Yep, all fiberglass. The PHELIX is great for small lakes, saltwater “backcountry” and more. Easy to clean, a hose or car wash does a fine job. The power is a Mercury 25EH. That is electric start with a “shallow water drive option”. Economical? I drove this baby cat all over Stick Marsh and Farm 13 and only used about three gallons of fuel. I drove much more than I would have fishing. I was playing and scouting. The PHELIX Fisherman’s Package includes a Motorguide 43 pound thrust trolling motor. This electric motor has plenty of power for the rig. It will out race a bunch of bass boats on their trolling motors!

My outing with the PHELIX was a wonderful experience. Ride, speed, stability, agility and shallow draft of the rig was very impressive. When I was done playing I drove the PHELIX on to the trailer. Just like the big boys! Just like I drive my Jaguar on to the trailer!
