“I said who are these guys and where are they from?
I’ve never heard of them!”

I received 2 spinnerbaits, 1 was a ½ ounce double willow in the popular Sexy Shad color and the other was a 3/8 ounce Colorado/Colorado tandem in a Living Image Tiger color. The first thing I noticed about these baits were the quality and detail of the heads. They looked amazing!! They have shad shaped heads with glass eyes and very detailed painting.
The second thing I noticed was that all of the blades were “hammered” instead of smooth. It has been my experience that hammered blades give off a tremendous amount of flash.
In addition, the baits also had genuine Sampo swivels and they are made right here in the USA. They ran true right out of the package and they did have a tremendous amount of flash in the slightly off colored water I was fishing.
I caught several nice fish on the double willow in the Sexy Shad color and the baits held up great. The wire was light enough to produce good vibration but strong enough not to get out of shape after hooking a fish. An all around quality bait. They are available in 3/8, ½ and ¾ ounce sizes with either 4/0 or 5/0 hooks. The “Living Image” skirts really complement the detailed heads.

For all you shakey head lovers, here is a head you will definitely want to try. For this review I received some 3/16 ounce Green Pumpkin Kandy and 1/8 ounce Watermelon/Red Flake heads. These heads had all the components I look for in my shakey heads.
First they utilize a spring keeper which allows me to screw on my soft plastic lure that keeps it in place on multiple casts and catches without having to reattach the bait.
The second thing is the head has a flat bottom which makes the bait stand up off the bottom giving your lure more action.
The bait is available in 1/8, 3/16, ¼, 5/16, 3/8 and ½ ounce sizes. These are quality heads from the spring keeper to the ultra sharp hooks. The head colors are second to none and held up well. I fished these with 7” Strike King Super Finesse worms on a 6’6” baitcasting rod with 12lb McCoy Fluorocarbon line. The Watermelon Kandy head was a perfect match to the Watermelon Candy finesse worm. It also was very easy to fish around deep water rock piles without hanging up.
I would rate this head right there with The Spot Remover Pro I previously reviewed. The advantage I see with the Knuckle Shaker is the variety of color options versus just the two colors with The Spot Remover.

As stated earlier, this head will hold its own when compared to some of the bigger more known companies offerings. Look at my ratings, this head truly deserves the 10 overall I gave it. Tie one of these on and add your favorite finesse worm, grub or craw and hang on!!
Football Head Jigs & Finesse Jigs
Knuckle Head Finesse Jig
Wow!!! Wow!!! These are some of the best jigs I have had the pleasure to tie on the end of a line. These are quality products that are made right here in the good ole USA! The Knuckle Head Finesse Jig features a round head design, quality weed guard, super sharp Mustad hook and awesome skirt colors. It’s a perfect size jig for fishing heavily pressured fish or during post frontal conditions. It has a molded in double keeper that will keep your soft plastic trailer in place without having to replace it after a couple of catches. Included in the package are some rattles that can be added to a keeper that is already molded into the skirt collar. It is available in 3/16, 5/16 and 7/16 ounce sizes. I was sent two colors Kamo and PB&J which looked fantastic.
Knuckle Dragger Pro (Full Skirt) Football Head Jig
Only one word can describe these football head jigs, “Awesome”. Anyone who fish ledges in the summer knows what an important tool the football head jig is. It accounts for catching more fish and cashing more checks than just about any other lure. The Dragger Pro has the same great features as its little brother the Knuckle Head. It has the molded double trailer keeper, quality weed guard and a “big bite” Mustad hook. It also comes with optional rattles that can be inserted in the keeper molded in the skirt collar if you want to add sound. It is available in 3/8, 5/8, ¾ and 1 ounce sizes. The model I received was the 5/8 ounce size in PB&J color. I fished these jig using a 6’6” baitcaster with 15lb McCoy Fluorocarbon line. I added a Strike King Rage Craw in Dirty Craw color for my trailer. I actually used this combination to finish 3rd in a tournament on the Tennessee River. I was fishing a ledge that was 12 feet on top falling off into 23 feet of water using a “stroking” technique. This jig/technique combination allowed me to catch approximately 20-25 fish. My final five fish limit weighed over 19lbs. The jig worked flawlessly and held up extremely well.
My ratings of the Knuckle Down Jigs are as follows:
Quality :10
Performance :10
Durability :10
Lure Design :10
Overall Rating :10
Jigs are my #1 lure and I have fished them all. In my opinion, there are none better on the market today. I would put this jig up against any “Big Name” companies jig any day. I know most people will say a jig is a jig, but I think what makes this one stand out is the trailer holder and the wide gap Mustad hook. Just let me know where I can get my hands on some more.
As the back of all their packages say, “When you feel a bite, Knuckle Down, cross his eyes, and hang on Cuz you’re in for a fight” LEARN MORE
